The Medical Center just outside the entrance predates the Country Club. Some of the homes, the Country Club Golf Pavilion and the Medical Center were all designed by the same San Diego Architectural Firm. some of the homes at RAMS HILL have won awards for design. Di Giorgio, original developer of RAMS HILL once owned Sun Air Lines which had regularly scheduled flights in and out of Borrego Springs. Bud Kuhrts was a major principal in the development of RAMS HILL. construction began in 1982. There have been several different owners since Di Giorgio.  Can you count them and name all the owners ?  (Send us what you know for the archives) The owner of the former Bernard's Restaurant in the Borrego Mall used to be the Maitre Di at the former Pavilion Dining Room at the Club House. Bernard died in the January 2008. Roger Jones was the "Black Hat" chef at the Clubhouse for seven years. Roger D Cosio was RAMS HILL VP and Project Manager from 1984-1991 Highway 78 from west boundary of ANZA BORREGO DESERT STATE PARK to east boundary is an Officially Designated State Scenic Highway.?
