Volunteering in the City

I served two years as an Outreach Specialist and AmeriCorps*VISTA member. During that time I became passionate about advocating for people with disabilities, realizing there were many disability issues that had direct influence on the quality of life of people with disabilities.

Americorps - An opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It�s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.

Volunteer Match -  offers a variety of online services to support a community of nonprofit, volunteer and business leaders committed to civic engagement.

Housed at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the Social Innovation Fund will help solve some of our nation�s most difficult social challenges. The Social Innovation Fund (SIF) will work with the grantmaking community to fund promising nonprofits that have demonstrated outcomes. It will provide nonprofits with growth funding and other support to scale and spread their impact.HOME
