Notes from the 2004-03-20 Santa Fe Meeting & Dinner
 
2004-03-20 - Santa Fe Neighborhood Home Owners Association had a great meeting on Saturday, March 20th, 2004 at La Casa del Zorro 2pm followed by a potluck dinner party at the Santa Fe Pool & Tennis Club 5pm

Approx 30 were in attendance.  The evening weather was perfect.  Several items were discussed in addition to the election of incumbents Blythe Cavanaugh & BJ Dennis to the board for 2004-2005.

  • President Blythe Cavanaugh's report to the homeowner's included the following:

  • Both Spas have been repaired and are in working order.  Only one is heated.  The 2 Tennis Courts are getting a makeover and one of them is being resurfaced.  The Main Entry Gate to the Santa Fe Pool & Tennis Club has been replaced with a much improved and more secure gate.

  • Trees have been trimmed and in some cases removed where necessary.  The landscaping services of Pacific Green have been retained.

  • The umbrella Rams Hill Community Association meets every month.

  • Roads are getting repaired where needed.

  • Exit Gate from the residential section of Rams Hill will soon be operational.

  • Some dog owners are not cleaning up after their dogs.  PLEASE, as a courtesy and a safety factor, clean up after your pet.

  • Some homeowners are leaving there outdoor lights throughout the night.  This is a violation of Rams Hill Neighborhood rules.  Please turn them off when you retire for the evening or set them to go off automatically.

  • No news to report on Developer status.

  • In John Bridges report he noted that in the Santa Fe neighborhood there are 18 vacant lots, 66 built, and 4 incomplete.  Delinquency rate on Santa Fe HOA fees is nearly 0%.  At the end of 2003 there was $498,000.00 in our reserve account.  Our reserves are in Merrill Lynch.

  • In response to questions from homeowners it was noted that the Solar Panels for the pools are functioning and doing quite well.

  • Painting of home exteriors will be performed again within the next 2 years.

  • Roofs are receiving on going maintenance.
