April Club Calendar

During the last month of the high season the ladies golf association Spring Fling event will be held on Tuesday April 5 at 8am. In addition everyone is encouraged to participate in the Borrego Springs High school booster tournament on Saturday April 16th. This worthy cause raise's funds for local youth activities and is only $100 per player. Please get your sign up form at the Golf Shop. Casual Nine & Dine will be at 3 pm each Wednesday afternoon in April. On Saturday April 9th this season's final format Nine & Dine.

The ever popular Vino & Bistro dinners will continue on Saturday's. On Wednesday evenings join us for Tavern on the Green, offering al a cart casual grill menu from 5pm to 7:30 pm. Please find the enclosed menu.

As always everyone at Ram's Hill is invited to the Member Appreciation Party on Friday nights. Guests are encouraged.

March Tournament Results

Jack and Ginny O'Neel took 1st place honors in the annual couples Rampage Tournament with their guests Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery. Once again this year's St. Patrick's Day Blarney Ball event hosted by Jack and Theresa Kavanagh was a hit with everyone. The turnout was very successful and fun was had by all, the winning team was Tom Lambie, Gen Miller, Bill Briner and Lee Barton with a score of 144. Thank you to the Kavanaghs for hosting this wonderful event.

In the Men's Club Championship we had a repeat winner for the 14th time in Bob Harrell with a 2 day total of 156. Our overall Net Champion went to Larry Jones with a great score of 137. In the Super Senior division Roger Craig won the Gross title with a score of 163 while Bob Jarvis won the net title shooting 141.

In the Ladies Member-Member event on March 15 & 16 we had a good turn out of teams. The winning team of Jean Ann Johnson and Joan Prickett took (he overall title with a score of 141.8. In the A flight the winners were Theresa Kavanagh and Jan Newman with a score of 142.4 while Nan Schwob and Bev Hansberger shot a great score of 159.4 to win the B flight.

The ladies Club Championship was decided on March 23 with Theresa Kavanagh battling the heavy winds to become our 2005 Ladies Club Champion with a score of 190. Nancy Mommsen came in at 161 to become the 2005 Overall Net Champion. Congratulations to all of the ladies who participated and battled the difficult weather conditions.
