Welcome to MMACC.ORG, the official online ministry of the Mary Magdalene Apostle Catholic Community, MMACC, San Diego, CA. MMACC.ORG is maintained by MMACC. MMACC.ORG is designed to provide information to anyone interested or involved in the mission and ministry of MMACC, for the sole purpose of supporting the mission and ministry of the catholic community. When using MMACC.ORG, you agree to the terms and conditions listed here (the "Terms of Use").

MMACC.ORG, or third parties, may provide links to other internet web sites or resources. Because MMACC.ORG has no control over such web sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that MMACC is not responsible for the availability of such sites or resources, and does not endorse and is neither responsible nor liable for any content, or materials on or available from such sites or resources, or their links. Furthermore you acknowledge and agree that MMACC is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any content, goods or services available on or through MMACC.ORG and any linked web site or resource.

You agree not to publish, display, disclose, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on MMACC.ORG content without the express written permission of MMACC except as is inherent in the fulfillment of its primary purpose to meet the internet resource needs of MMACC staff, members and visitors.

MMACC may use the bulletin board service (BBS) capability provided by Yahoo.com (or other comparable service provider).  To avail yourself of the BBS features, you must join the Yahoo.com MMACC BBS Group to be able to post messages, photographs, files or announcements, use the calendar, or send emails to other MMACC BBS Group members (not to be confused with Church Membership).  It is your choice to use the BBS and are expected to abide by the Yahoo.com Terms & Conditions - nothing herein relieves you of that responsibility. Note: The BBS portion of these terms only applies if and when such a service is set up.

All information on the MMACC.ORG is open to public access. The communications and posted information on MMACC BBS are also subject to public access.  MMACC reserves the right to remove without notice any bulletin board posting for any reason and MMACC has no obligation to delete any content that you may find objectionable or offensive.

Information posted and/or opinions expressed in the MMACC BBS are not necessarily those of MMACC. Users alone are responsible for the content of the messages they post when using the BBS as well as the consequences of any such messages.

You agree not to use MMACC.ORG or MMACC BBS to post, email or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, libelous, violates another person's privacy, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable to MMACC; impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, the MMACC.ORG webmaster or church member, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; forge email headers or otherwise modify file identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content posted or transmitted via MMACC.ORG resources; upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available; upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or proprietary rights of any party; upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising (advertisements via the Yahoo.com BBS are considered to be authorized as an essential adjunct to the free use of the Yahoo.com BBS), promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or spoof-mail; intentionally upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; interfere with or disrupt MMACC.ORG servers or networks connected to MMACC.ORG; intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any regulations having the force of law. This includes the applicable laws and regulations of Canada and the United Kingdom as they are effected by the use of computers and telecommunications equipment and software in the domain registration process, and web site hosting and email services for MMACC.ORG.

You understand and agree that MMACC services are provided "as-is" with no guarantee to be "virus free"  and MMACC disclaims all warrantees, expressed or implied, or fitness for any particular purpose.

You agree that your use of MMACC.ORG is at your own risk and that any information or data obtained via MMACC.ORG is at your own discretion and risk and that you are solely responsible for any deleterious affect on your computer system, software and/or data.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MMACC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and members from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs, including, but not limited to, attorneys fees, arising from your use of MMACC.ORG.

These Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any action brought to enforce this agreement or matters related to the site shall be brought in either the state or federal courts in California. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision or portion of these Terms of Use to be unenforceable, the remainder to the Terms of Use will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and MMACC with respect to the use of MMACC.ORG.
