									Diego Fire House Museum - Pioneer Hook &

									The 
									Museum is operated by volunteers, mostly 
									Retired and Present Firefighters that donate 
									their time and skills. There is also a large 
									Banquet room that can be rented for parties 
									and meeting of all kinds.. Located in the 
									former home of San Diego's Fire Station No. 
									6. The Firehouse Museum was founded in 1962 
									and has been lovingly restored over the past 
									40 years by Pioneer Hook & Ladder Co., a 
									nonprofit organization. Not only will you 
									find relics of when the station was 
									operational, you will find a collection of 
									artifacts dating back all the way to 1841, 
									chronicling the history of fire protection
